An hour in the chair, start to finish and what stays on.
You keep your shirt and your trousers on. Shoes and socks come off, trouser legs roll to the knee, and you sit back in a reclining chair with your feet up on a rest. Then it is 60 minutes of hands — thumbs, knuckles, the heel of the palm — over the sole, the arch, the heel, the toes and up into the calf.
The lower leg is part of it, which surprises people. Calves braced against a concrete floor for a 12 hour shift are usually tighter than the feet attached to them.
Pressure, and how to ask for less of it
Thumb work on an arch can be genuinely intense, and there is a difference between the good kind of intense and the kind you are quietly gritting your teeth through. Say something. The therapist eases off as soon as you ask, and nobody thinks less of you for it. Feet vary enormously; a Riata Ranch runner and a nurse who stands 12 hours have nothing in common here.
Tell us before you sit down if you have a cut, a blister, a recent foot surgery, or any circulation or nerve problem a doctor has named for you. Some of those change how we work. A few mean we should leave your feet alone that day, and we will say so rather than take the $60.

The honest version of the research on foot reflexology.
The zone map is the tradition foot reflexology comes from: a chart that assigns each patch of the sole to an organ or a body system. It is an elegant idea. It has not been demonstrated. Nobody has shown that pressing one spot on the arch does anything measurable to the organ the chart assigns to it.
NCCIH, the NIH centre that reviews exactly this kind of question, puts it plainly: the research on reflexology is low quality, and there are no well-designed studies showing it outperforms a plain foot massage. We are not going to pretend otherwise on a page whose job is to sell you one.
So why pay $60 for it
Because an hour of skilled, methodical pressure on feet that have been inside shoes since 6 AM feels extremely good, and that is a sufficient reason to buy something. What the evidence does support, and NCCIH says so in the same breath, is that massage in general carries low risk and that many people find it deeply relaxing. Relaxation is a real outcome. It is not, however, treatment for an illness.
What you will not read here is that foot reflexology treats a named medical condition. Texas puts the diagnosis and treatment of illness outside the scope of massage therapy under Occupations Code 455.002(b), and the evidence would not carry that claim even if the law allowed it. If your feet have hurt for months, start with a doctor. We work alongside that answer, not instead of it.

What it costs here, and what the other foot places up Barker Cypress charge.
$60 buys the hour here. That is not the lowest number in the area and we are not going to write that it is — Cloud 9 Foot Spa over in 77429 publishes 60 minutes of reflexology at $55, five dollars under us. What is fair to say is that $55 and $60 are both well under the $79.99 that the chain up this road charges a first-time guest for an hour.
| Where | What they sell | Price | Membership needed? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lulu Massage & Spa · 11808 Barker Cypress Rd Ste D | Foot reflexology, 60 minutes | $60 | No |
| Cloud 9 Foot Spa · 77429 | Reflexology, 60 minutes | $55 | No |
| Nara Therapeutic Thai Massage · 9740 Barker Cypress Rd | Add-on session, 15 minutes (their 60 minute massage is $90) | $35 | No |
| Heights Wellness Retreat · 9935 Barker Cypress Rd | No standalone foot session published; 60 minute massage at the first-visit rate | $79.99 | Membership runs $79.99–$99.99 a month on a 3, 6 or 12 month contract |
Read that Nara line twice, because it is the one that catches people. $35 for 15 minutes works out to $140 an hour. Ours is $60 for the full 60 minutes, which is a different product at a different scale, and worth knowing before you assume an add-on is the cheaper way in.
One more number before you choose. The combination session is $70 for 60 minutes in total: 30 on the table for back and shoulders, 30 in the chair for the feet. That is $10 over straight foot reflexology and the same price as a full 60 minute body massage. Most people who cannot decide end up there.
Prices above came off each business's own booking page in September 2026, not a directory, and chain pricing moves — check theirs before you decide. Ours is the list price. Fresha displays a lower figure on prepaid online bookings because prepay takes up to 10% off, and we publish the list number, because a price that changes with your payment method is not really a published price.

Who books foot reflexology in Cy-Fair and how to find the door.
Three hospitals sit within about 5 miles of this door — Houston Methodist Cypress at 1.0 mile, opened in 2025 with 100 beds, HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress at roughly 3, and Memorial Hermann Cypress at 4 to 5. A lot of the people inside them are on their feet for a full shift, and a chair session is the one that fits an evening after work.
After them: teachers. Cy-Fair ISD is the third-largest school district in Texas, about 115,000 students across 186 square miles, and a campus day is spent standing. Then the warehouse and plant side — Daikin's 4.1 million square foot Texas Technology Park is 18.3 miles up US-290 in Waller, 25 minutes off-peak, and a shift on that slab shows in somebody's calves.
Getting here, and the 290 feeder trap
We are at 11808 Barker Cypress Rd, Ste D, about 400 feet south of the Queenston Blvd light and 0.36 miles south of the US-290 frontage. The Walgreens at 11803 is directly across the street; Jack in the Box at 11833 is the other landmark. Parking is free, flat and right at the suite door.
Coming off 290, get onto the correct feeder before you reach Barker Cypress. The one-way feeder system here means one direction sends you past the interchange to turn back, which costs a few minutes you did not budget. We are on the east side of the road, just south of the freeway.
- Book the 60 minute foot reflexology on Fresha, or call and text (713) 875-9198. Evening slots tend to go first, so ask early if you want one after 6 PM.
- Wear something that rolls above the knee. Jeans that do not roll are fine, they just get pushed up and stay there for the hour.
- Mention any cut, blister, recent surgery or doctor-named circulation problem when you book, not when you sit down.
- Arrive about 5 minutes early so the full 60 minutes is hands-on time rather than paperwork time. Off-peak that is 5 minutes from Towne Lake, 5 from Coles Crossing, 6 from Bridgeland, 8 from Fairfield and 15 from Jersey Village — add a quarter to a half again between 4:30 and 6 PM.

Free parking at the Queenston light on Barker Cypress
We are open every day from 10 AM to 8 PM, so a lunch hour, an after-work stop and a Sunday evening all fit.
- Come down Barker Cypress from the 290 feeder. We are 0.4 miles south, at the Queenston Blvd light — the Walgreens at 11803 is across the street and the Jack in the Box is on the same corner.
